Fishing Day

My dads friend Paul started this fishing day thing where the handicapped kids in the valley and beyond come for a day and get to fish and have lunch. It started out up at Payson Lakes like 15-16 years ago with like 200 kids. It grew so fast that they now do it at Salem Pond and Albertsons sponsors all the food and the fish and game come and help the kids and make sure they all catch one. They also gut them and send them home with the kids. It is such a neat thing to be apart of and watch grow. This year they served around 2,000 lunches.
Andrea and I took the kids for support this year (my Dad and Aaron were cooking for it) Brooklyn took this picture and she even got all 3 of us in it can you believe that!!
This is some of the group L-R Gail, Diann, Kevin I., Paul, Kevin P., my dad, me and Andrea.
The gang cookin!! (notice my dad cant take a serious picture, always has to be the goof I love it, it makes pictures more interesting!!)
Brooklyn loved reelin in the fish but wasn't to sure of it when she actually saw it, she just kept sayin "hurry put it back!"
I love this picture of Andrea and Brayden. Brayden didn't want ANYTHING to do with it!
Smokey the Bear comes every year as well so we had to get a picture with him. Brayden didn't like him he was way scared and Brooklyn walked right up and was ready to give him a hug So dang cute
When walkin out to the car there was this little stage thing and the kids just had to dance on it. I love this picture of Brooklyn mid twist (couldn't do it again if I tried)
Brayden had to dance with her!
Brooklyn loves to pose! She went behind this wall and told me to take a picture of her so cute.
She is gettin so big and brave. You cant tell but she is pretty high off the ground.
You cant go to Salem Pond with out goin down the slides!
And swinging on the swings

He is such a STUD!!!
